HOW TO BECOME A CERTIFIED DIGITAL MARKETER

  • How do I get certified?
    You will be a certified digital marketer after finishing all 12 courses and completing all the requirements for each course.
  • If I get only one course, will I still get the certification?
    No because you need to finish all 12 courses to be certified but you will get a certificate of completion after each course.
  • Who are the certifying bodies?
    The certifying bodies are Ateneo De Manila University, IMMAP (Internet and Mobile Marketers Association of the Philippines) and e-Learningedge.Net
  • How do I get my certificates?
    We normally send the certificate via email. If you need a hard copy, we can print one for you.
  • What are the benefits of becoming a CDM?
    After finishing the full program, a) you get to be a member of the IMMAP (Internet and Mobile Marketers Association of the Philippines, b) you can network with industry practitioners, suppliers and potential clients, c) you have a big chance to get hired in the digital marketing industry as the certification is highly recognized in the Philippines. d) After graduation you are still entitled to a one year free access to updated courses and face to face sessions so that your digital learning will always be up-to-date and top notch.

WHAT IS IT ABOUT

  • What requirements do I need to submit?
    To enroll, we just need your name, work details such as company and designation, email address and mobile number. The program is open to all non-practitioners of digital marketing
  • How long is the program?
    You can finish it in 11 months. Ideally, one course per month.
  • Do I need to go to class everyday?
    No because we hold our classes online. We only have a live class (Face-to-Face session)on the first day of the course and the rest is online.
  • Where is the face-to-face sessions held?
    The face-to-face introductory sessions of the courses will be at the AIM Center, Makati.
  • What time do I need to go online?
    The program is self-paced. We do not require our students to login at any specific time. You will have access to all the modules on the first day of classes and it is up to you to manage your studies online.
  • How long do I need to spend per day studying the lessons?
    Ideally, you can spend at least an hour/day for studying the course.
  • Who can I ask if I have questions about the lessons?
    We have online facilitators and coaches who are available online. Just email our facilitators or you can call our hotline at 9270096.
  • How does it work?

    In a nutshell,

    1. Each course starts with an introductory lecture with our speakers from the industry.
    2. Introductory lectures are followed by a two-week online course, guided by an online facilitator.
    3. The output of each class includes hands-on digital executions and/or a marketing brief/plan. In the summary session, the subject matter expert will discuss and provide feedback on the assignments of the class.

  • How do I know if I am already enrolled?
    After we receive your payment, we will send you a confirmation message via email, text or call. You will receive your username and password on the first day of classes. You will use this to access the online classroom.

  • How do I pay for the program?
    We have 3 ways to pay- online via Paypal, BDO and onsite.
  • How do I pay online?
    Just go to our online payments page and you will be directed to the Paypal portal page.
  • How do I pay via BDO?

  • How can I confirm my payment?

    For BDO payments- Notify us of your payment by faxing your deposit slip to 927-0096 or email the deposit slip to sales@elearningedge.net.

    For Paypal- we will receive an automatic online response after your payment.

  • When can I pay?
    You can pay anytime before the course starts.
  • When is the early bird deadline?
    The early bird deadline is 2 weeks before a course starts
  • Can I pay in installments?
    Yes, but we only allow installments for full program students.
  • How can I pay in installment?
    For full program students, we allow up to 4 installments throughout the program duration. We will provide you the payment schedule and send it via email.
  • Can I pay in check?
    Yes you can pay in check.
  • How do I get my OR?
    We will send you a soft copy of the OR once we receive the payment. If you need the hardcopy, please provide us your mailing address so we can send it via courier.

Digital should be part of your marketing mix. More of your customers are online today and even more will be looking for you online. You can’t afford not to be online and not manage your online presence unless you want your competitors and customers to do it for you. Digital marketing channels work for businesses big or small, but not everyone was trained to harness its power.

The Certified Digital Marketer (CDM) program is a professional certification course designed for on-the-go marketers and businessmen, built on both managerial and technical points of view. It’s a full online course, so students can choose to learn anytime, anywhere they may be at their own preferred pace. There’s (optional) face-to-face introductory sessions too for each module of the program, available to students who would like to get a helicopter view of the subject and interact with the featured subject matter expert.

The program can be taken in full or in part, with each module serving as a standalone course. Once the 12-module program is completed, the student gets a Certificate of Completion and can qualify for an industry-recognized Certified Digital Marketer title to distinguish himself as a marketer with a solid foundation in digital marketing.

Besides the full professional certificate program, there are 5 specialist tracks designed for specific career paths namely: Social Media Marketing, Digital Marketing Analytics, Digital Media Planning, e-Business, and the Certified in Digital PR program in partnership with the Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP).

The Certified Digital Marketer (CDM) program is recognized and supported by the Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU), De La Salle University, Ateneo Java Wireless Competency Center (AJWCC), and the following professional associations: Internet and Mobile Marketing Association of the Philippines (IMMAP), Philippine Association of National Advertisers (PANA), Marketing and Opinion Research Society of the Philippines (MORES), Philippine Retailers Association (PRA), Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP), Philippine Marketing Association of the Philippines, (PMA) and the People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP).

At the end of the 12-course program, each participant should:

  1. Know, understand, and appreciate the basic concepts of Digital Marketing and its benefits in brand awareness and brand building
  2. Learn how to grow your organization’s or client’s business by leveraging on specific digital marketing channels available today, such as search engines, e-mail, blogs, mobile, and much more
  3. Learn key lessons from various international and local business cases provided in class
  4. Ascertain possible applications of digital marketing in any enterprise, both as a stand-alone medium or as a pivotal part of a cross-media campaign
  5. Discover emerging trends in digital marketing and prepare for the imminent digital revolution

How It Works

Step 1: Each course starts with an introductory lecture with our speakers from the industry.

Step 2: Followed by a 2-week online course, guided by an online facilitator.

Step 3: The output of each class is marketing brief/plan that you can use for work. In the summary session, you will present your work to a panel of experts via webinar who can give you practical feedback.

Policies

Certified Digital Marketing Program

The CDM Program is a combination of blended online training courses and involvement in IMMAP-CDM activities geared towards honing the competency in digital marketing and championing digital marketing in the Philippines.

MODES OF ATTENDANCE

  1. To facilitate learning, the course employs a blended approach: a portion of the class is conducted face-to-face while the rest is conducted through an online platform (edu20.org), which can track logins and duration of stay. It is recommended that participants login five (5) times a week for thirty minutes to one hour.
  2. It is highly recommended for participants to join physical classroom sessions so they can interact with faculty and classmates. Students who cannot physically attend the classroom sessions can view the videos of the class online.
  3. Webinar sessions are online seminars which are held in the middle of 2-week class schedule. Students will be given access to an online site where they will listen to the 1-2 hour lecture of the Subject Matter Expert.
  4. Towards the end of their course, participants will be asked to present their final output to a panel of experts who will give their feedback and recommendations. The presentation of a marketing strategy will test how well they can apply the concepts learned in class.
  5. Participants are given access to the online class up to two (2) weeks after the summary session.

CERTIFICATION

  1. A student who enrolls in a course is given two options: (1) Complete the online activities, create and present a marketing plan, receive complete feedback from Subject Matter Experts and get the Certificate of Completion, or (2) complete the online activities and get a Certificate of Participation.
  2. Students will receive their certificates if all requirements are met with at least the minimum grade of 2.0, or 80%. A participant who receives a completion certificate for all twelve (12) program modules and completes forty (40) hours of mentorship shall be recognized by the Internet and Mobile Marketing Association of the Philippines as a Certified Digital Marketer (CDM).

LATE SUBMISSIONS

  1. Failure to submit the complete requirements will result in a grade marked “INC.” In this case, you are given up to one (1) week after the summary session to complete the requirements of the program as required by your facilitator. If by any reason you will be unable to comply with the submission date, kindly inform your facilitator.

FINAL GRADES AND CERTIFICATES

  1.
